On October 16, 2016, Elizabeth of the Trinity (1880-1906) will be canonized by Pope Francis. To celebrate the new saint, the Carmelite sisters of Flavignerot have entrusted Fleur Nabert with the task of representing Elizabeth physically but also spiritually.
The artist wanted to show how Elisabeth was inhabited by the Holy Trinity so she created a symbol : the circle of the divine totality embraces the cross of the Christ and the dove of the Holy Spirit. The Trinity shines: the edge of Elizabeth's veil, her shoulders and face are bathed in light.
But Elizabeth also had an extraordinary dynamism, toward God and people. She appears happily stretched toward the horizon showing us the direction of the sky. In her scapular the wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing and the first words of her prayer are written in golden letter "O my God, Trinity whom I adore ..."
A copy of the sculpture (65, 35 or 14 in, bronze limited series or handmade resin) or the medallion of the Trinity (Gold plated silver jewel 0,78 in diameter) can be purchased by sending a request on the contact page
